The brewery tour is reservation only.
*Please reserve your tour five days before your scheduled date by the phone or internet.
We guide visitors around “Sugidama” or the Giant Cider Ball (Japan’s largest), the main brewery, and the bottling plant. “Daiginjo,” ”Ginjo,” “Junmai,” “Nigori,” and “Liqueur,” etc. the premium and the proudly top quality in Japan are waiting for you.
The brewery tour is free of charge.
— Persons aged under 20 and/or driver will be strictly rejected from the sake tasting. —
The flow of the brewery Tour
The tour are closed (non-operation) on holidays (Saturday, Sunday and national holiday).

You are free to choose any time slot from the above.
●Estimated time of tour／Approximately 50 minutes.（※Please inform your convenience.）
●Capacity of visitors: 1～20 visitors.
For the large group: The group may be divided into some teams.
For the small group: Maybe teamed with other groups.
The brewery is not set for the barrier-free.
●Saké tasting: Included.
●Shopping: Visitors are welcome at Sakè House Momokawa.
If you are lucky, you may be able to buy the limited-edition products only for visitors.
Flow of brewery tour
- 1.Reception
- Find the signboard for the Brewery Tour Visitors on the side of Route 45.
Park your car in the parking lot (free of charge) and enter from the signed gate.
Your guide is waiting for you at the Sakè House Momokawa on your left side.
- 2.Video Watching
- Video movies are to introduce the brewing processes.(Only Japanese)
- 3.In House Guide
- The tour follows the tourist corridor.
The tour includes stairs. The Barrier-free system is not prepared.
- 4.Tasting
- Proudly brewed Daiginjo, Ginjo, Junmai, Nigori, Liqueur, etc. are prepared.
Persons aged under 20 and/or driver will be strictly rejected from the sake tasting.
- 5.Saké Shopping
- Seasonal sakè and choices are on the shelves in Sakè House Momokawa.
If you are lucky, you may be able to buy the visitor only limited edition products.

●By bus from JP Shimoda Station: Use Oirase-tyoumin Bus (Southbound) (200 yen).
Going: Shimoda Station (9:30) → Momoishi Chuo (9:42) 2 min. by walk. (5/2023)
Shimoda Station (13:46) → Momoishi Chuo (13:58) 2 min. by walk. (5/2023)
Returning: Momoishi Chuo(10:51) → Shimoda Station (11:05)(5/2023)

●By bus from Hachinohe: Use Towada Kankou Dentetsu Bus bound for Towada.
Get off at Kokuho Oirase Byoin mae (Oirase hospital) Bus stop. It takes about 20 min. from Hachinohe station, 30 min. from Hachinohe city.
